Meet the 5 AI & AR Companies in Disney's Accelerator Program

Disney just announced the five new companies accepted into the 10th Disney Accelerator program. They all involve either AI or AR.

“The Disney Accelerator allows us to continue this legacy of innovation and the responsible use of technology in service of storytelling,” says Bonnie Rosen, GM of the Disney Accelerator.

Here’s who’s going to Disney World The Disney Lot in Burbank:

• AudioShake: AudioShake utilizes AI to break down sound recordings into individual components and stems, enabling interactive, customizable, and accessible audio experiences.

• ElevenLabs: ElevenLabs specializes in voice technology research, focusing on creating highly realistic AI speech software for publishers and creators.

• Nuro: Nuro harnesses AI and machine learning to develop autonomous vehicles dedicated to generating revenue through food, grocery, and package delivery services.

• Promethean AI: PrometheanAI offers a range of tools for creating virtual worlds and managing digital assets, all accessible through natural language commands.

• StatusPro: StatusPro integrates sports data with augmented and virtual reality technologies to offer a range of immersive training and gaming solutions

Past companies in the accelerator include Epic Games (which Disney just invested $1.5 billion into) and Kahoot!.

The program provides companies with investment capital, access to co-working space at Disney’s creative campus, and mentor support and guidance from top Disney executives.

The program concludes with a Demo Day in the spring at the Disney lot in Burbank.
