MRMC's Groundbreaking Innovations at IBC 2024: Studiobot LT and Cinebot

Mark Roberts Motion Control (MRMC), a Nikon company, is set to unveil a range of groundbreaking innovations at IBC 2024 across two booths covering Motion Control (Hall 12, C20) and Broadcast (Hall 11, C28).

The company will showcase the new Studiobot LT for broadcast workflows and the Cinebot range for cinematography, demonstrating seamless workflows between MRMC, Nikon, and Red.

Behind the Scenes

• The Studiobot LT, designed for studio productions, offers flexibility and a wide envelope of motion in a small footprint, supporting up to 10kg and featuring native support for broadcast serial lenses.

• The Studiobot LT comes with safety features, a tally lamp, and a choice of base and mounting options for various applications, easily controlled via software and offering an API for integration with studio automation systems.

• The Cinebot Max, a user-friendly and portable robot with a 1.75m arm, builds upon the PushMoco® technology developed for the Cinebot Mini, allowing camera movements to be played back seamlessly with a 3.2m height and 20kg payload.

• The Super Milo, an enhanced version of the industry-standard Milo, features brushless motors for increased speed and acceleration, extended reach of up to 6.1m, and full integration with Unreal Engine for virtual production.
