VIDEO VILLAGE

Apple’s spooky keynote was last night. New M3 chips across the board and a nice-looking Space Black MacBook color.

But what’s really got everyone buzzing is the reveal that the entire keynote was shot entirely on an iPhone 15 Pro.

This isn’t anything new - Apple’s been shooting promos on the latest iPhone for nearly a decade (here’s a montage I made of all the support gear from the first Shot on iPhone spot).

And obviously, the camera is just one piece of the puzzle - camera support, lighting, and color grading are a huge part of generating a ‘cinematic’ look and the keynote was definitely not edited and color graded on an iPad.

This BTS video gives some more insight into the production (and looks like they used Blackmagic’s camera app).
